But sources close to Kamara say the video doesn't tell the whole story, saying the alleged victim was violent at first.

According to an October lawsuit filed by Darnell Greene, the fight began after he and the New Orleans Saints star got into an argument outside an elevator at the hotel's popular nightclub, Drai's Nightclub.
Greene claimed he tried to hook up with Kamara and Kamara's buddies. But he claimed the stripped-down footballer prevented him from winning by "putting his hand on Greene's chest" and then brutally assaulting him.
In the new footage, Kamara - dressed in a light shirt and looking scared - can be seen throwing several punches at Green.
The clip shows how the kick eventually knocked the man to the ground. During the takedown, several other men can be seen in the video jumping into the attack - punching and kicking the man before cleaning him up.

The photos, which Greene's lawyers included in their lawsuit against Kamara last month, resembled the footage. As a result of the beating, Greene suffered injuries to his neck, back, head, shoulders, knees and face ... including a "facial fracture" to his right collarbone, according to the lawsuit.
Meanwhile, Kamara was arrested after the 2022 Pro Bowl for his alleged role in the incident ... and charged with aggravated assault resulting in substantial bodily harm and misdemeanor conspiracy to commit assault.
During the arrest, police say in police documents that Kamara admitted to hitting the man.
Kamara, who has had a lackluster season for the Saints this year, is due back in court next week for a hearing.

The alleged victim, identified as Darnell Greene, shared photos of the gruesome injuries on social media after Kamara posted bail on the battery charge.

Greene allegedly grabbed Kamara's arm from his chest and pulled Kamara back, causing him to fall backwards, according to police.
The alleged victim later told police he remembers several people punching and kicking him until he lost consciousness.
After Kamara shoved the man, the video shows another man punching the alleged victim in the face.
