Initial reports from Las Vegas Metro Police said the victim was interviewed at a local hospital where he told investigators he was beaten by several men at Drai's nightclub. He could only describe one of the suspects, who police later identified as Kamara.

The victim told police that on the morning of February 5, he was waiting outside the elevator next to a group of people, including the four suspects. When the elevator doors opened, Kamara placed his hand on the victim's chest to prevent him from entering the elevator. , the police said.

However, officers say surveillance footage from the hotel supports the victim's version of events and shows that Greene was not trying to escape.

According to a police report describing the video, other people in the escape group then stomped on the man repeatedly while he was on the ground.

The alleged victim claims he struck up a conversation with one of the people in Kamara's group while they were waiting for an elevator at the Cromwell Casino at the Drais After Dark Club on South Las Vegas Boulevard at 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

Green claimed he pushed Kamara's arm off his chest and pushed Kamara backwards, causing him to fall backwards, according to police.

The alleged victim then told police he remembered multiple people punching and kicking him before he lost consciousness.

After Kamara pushed the man, the video shows another man punching the alleged victim in the face.

According to the video description, the treadmill then hit the man and hit him approximately eight times, including three times when the man was already on the ground.

"Kamara does not remember if he hit (the victim) while he was on the ground," police wrote in the arrest report.

The incident was stopped when security arrived and Kamara and the group were escorted from the property.

NFL security was notified hours before kickoff Sunday that police were looking for the 26-year-old, TMZ Sports reports.

Officials apparently agreed with the NFL that the running back would be allowed to play in an exhibition game and that Kamara would speak with them afterward.

"We contacted NFL security around 10 a.m. and informed them that [Kamara] was a suspect in the case and that they had located him and he was already on the field," Assistant Sheriff John McGrath told Nevada Current Affairs.

They said he wasn't arrested until after the Pro Bowl because "there was a delay in reporting due to the victim receiving treatment."

"Detectives responded and conducted a follow-up investigation where the alleged crime occurred and were able to identify the suspect, Alvin Kamara."
